The artists in this exhibition take to the streets and observe how public space guides us. What are our relationships with cities, street signs, means of transport and other people?
These observations and questions form a starting point for the participating artists Rebecca Cuschera, Floortje Kortekaas and Bauwke van de Wiel. All three transform aspects of their surroundings in order to recontextualise them. In this way, they bring the outside world inside in different ways. Zona Traffio Limitato refers to a zone with limited traffic. It can be seen as a place where the pedestrian dominates and where there is room to wander. Zona Traffio Limitato reflects both the choice of materials and subjects of the exhibited art and the location of the gallery. Three words that connect the works of the three artists.
